How do I customize my boring-uniform T-shirt is a black babydoll and too big in the waist and arms

I work as a waiter at a restaurant indie. I like my work, but gave me a doll T-shirt size large (xs I'm in the largest). How do I change my shirt slightly to to fit and look better? I was thinking about changing the sleeves to limit the sleeves and somehow put at the waist. How can I do this? Do you have a better idea? Any input would be great! Thank you!
